He was the son of the late Jake Harris and the late Opal (Butler) Harris.
He is survived by two sons, Michael Shane Harris, Symsonia, Jeffrey Scott Harris, Terre Haute, Ind. one brother Larry Harris, and grandchildren Elizabeth Harris, Lauren Harris, and Kaitlin Harris, all of Terre Haute, Ind. and great grandchildren, Miranda Harris, Kevil, Amanda Battoe, Paducah, and Devin Harris, Murray.
Arrangements are being handled by Collier Funeral Home, P.O. Box 492, Benton, KY.
Memorial service will be held at a later date.
