the intersection of US 641 and HWY 58 at Scale Rd in reference to an
injury accident. Robbie Davis, 43, of Benton, was traveling southbound on
641 in a 2006 Dodge van when Kendall Brese, 25, of Mayfield, driving a
1998 Honda Silver failed to stop at the intersection striking Davis.
Both vehicles came to rest off the roadway while Brese's vehicle struck
a gas line. Brese was transported by Marshall County EMS due to injuries
sustained in the collision. Davis and three juvenile passengers were
released by EMS at the scene. Sheriff Byars was assisted by Kentucky
State Police, Marshall County EMS and Palma Briensburg Fire Department.
Benton Gas repaired the gas line at the scene.
