Barnard was arrested this morning just before 11 a.m. at high school. Sheriff Kevin Byars said the Marshall County Sheriff's office has been conducting an investigation since December into reports of improper conduct with at least one 15-year old student.
"We believe there are other victims and we want them to come forward," said Byars.
Barnard resigned as football coach at the high school after four seasons in March.
Barnard is lodged in the Marshall County Detention Center on a $10,000 bond.
