She was a long time member of the Benton Homemakers. She was a member and assisted at the F1rst Baptist Church for many years. She later attended Olive Baptist Church.
Evelyn is survived by two daughters, Randee Rudolph of Benton and Pam Blaer of Calif.; two sons, Jim Mosley of Paducah and Michael Guess of Tenn.; one sister, Edith Fischer of Ind.; 7 grandchildren, 9 step-grandchildren and 1 great grandson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Laird; her first husband, Archie Guess; her parents; five brothers and one sister.
A memorial service will be held November 18 from 4:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Mike Miller Park Community building. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the American Cancer society, Alzheimer’s Association.
