BENTON – English Home Furniture will be relocating from the old Walmart building to the building recently vacated when Fleming Furniture went out of business last month. The move will be complete by December 1.
Scott English, owner of English Furniture, said the move makes sense for his business for a number of reasons.
“That is a building people have been used to buying furniture out of for many years,” said English. “The building is actually smaller than where we are now, but it is all under one roof.”
The store English is in currently is divided and customers have to exit the building to reach the second showroom. He says it will be much more convenient for him and his customers.
English confirms he has purchased the building from former owners Dan and Karen Kelley.
English Home Furniture opened in Benton in 1999 in the location which is now Champion Auto Mart. They move to the old Walmart location in 2002.
