He served as a pilot during World War II with the U.S. Army Air Forces. He was a civil engineer until his retirement.
He is survived by his wife, Elma Drenan Freudenthal of Gilbertsville; daughters Janet M. Collins of Lawrenceburg, Ky., and Susan K. Clendenin of Marion, Ill.; sons Donald A. Freudenthal of Hawthorne, Calif., Patrick L. Freudenthal of Santa Barbara, Calif.; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Emil L. Freudenthal Jr., and his parents, Emil Louis Freudenthal and Hilde Sidonia Dames Freudenthal.
There will be no visitation or funeral service.
