Edward Daniel (Ed Dan) Collie, 80, a Marshall County, native, died in Colorado Nov, 29.
He was a United Methodist pastor, upholster, landscape designer, artist, and writer and retired as a UMC pastor from Louisa chapel in Clyde, N.C.
He is survived by his wife, Sandy Headley Collie of Pueblo, Colo.; daughters Sandra Martinez of Woodland Park, Colo., Sarah Warbington of Colorado Springs, Colo., Emily Collie-Hoecherl of Lompoc, Calif., Brenda Kath of Denver, Colo., Elizabeth Kogos of Charlotte, N.C., Leah Jennifer Frank of Jerusalem, Israel, and Freda Collie; sons Edd and Kayne Collie, both of Pueblo, Colo., and Samuel Collie of Rapid City, S.D.; 27 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon Kastle, his parents, Ollie Wilson Collie and Lucille Lindsey Collie.
Graveside services were Thursday, Dec. 6, at Estes Collie Cemetery.
