Benton Middle School sixth grader Derek Doss won the school’s 2011-2012 Geography Bee. Derek will now move on to the state finals this spring in Bowling Green. Derek will be competing to win a trip to Washington and a spot in the national finals. He will also be competing for a $25,000 scholarship. He is the son of Brian and Darla Doss of Benton.
