Dorothy M. Hendrix, 91, of Paducah, passed away 1:08 a.m. Wednesday, October 2 at her residence.

Mrs. Hendrix was a member of Reidland Church of Christ and had been employed by the Kentucky Department of Juvenile Justice.

She is survived by her four daughters, Donna Simmons and husband Glen of Camp Verde, Ariz., Judy Taylor and husband F.M. of Kevil, Barbara Hendrix of Calvert City, Cassey Rhoades and Barry of Paducah; 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband James Emerson Hendrix; two daughters, Marcy Lutgendorf and Billie Diane Hendrix; one sister Myrtle Alexander; and one brother Earl Rust. Her parents were Henry Rust and Mary Buckingham Rust.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 4 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home. Mr. Terrell Lee officiated. Burial followed at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
