She was a self-employed greenhouse wholesaler which supplied many local florist.
She is survived by three sons, Rev. Joseph Eubanks of Akron, Ohio; Stephen Eubanks and of Owensboro, and Danny Coursey of Benton; one sister, Jeanne Harper of St. Louis, Mo.; one brother, Randy Nix of Hanes City, Fla.; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Leland Coursey; one brother, Basil Nix; three sisters, Beulah Mae Bryant, Hazel Jackson and June Wright. Her parents were Clifton Nix and Lucy Butler Nix.
A Private family service was held Saturday, May 12, at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will take place in the Benton Cemetery.
