Donald Ray Swinny, 61, Benton, died at 7:11 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 15, at the Marshall County Hospital emergency room.
He was a member of the Briensburg Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Culp Swinny of Benton; his mother, Margie Flowers Swinny of Reidland; one daughter, Jeannie Hill of Dunn, N.C; three sons, Bobbie Crabtree of Dunn, N.C., and Kevin Tyree and Chris Tyree, both of Paducah; one brother, David Swinny of Eddyville; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Swinny.
A funeral service was held Tuesday, Nov. 20, at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home & Crematory. Rev. Brad Walker officiated.
