Rev. and Mrs. Dewey M. Dick of Hardin will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with family and friends on November 13th from 2-4 p.m., at Cherokee State Park, 974 Cherokee Lane in Aurora.

Rev. Dick and the former Jerlyine McKendree were married November 18, 1961, at the Cherry Corner Baptist Church in Murray, by the Rev. RJ Burpoe.

Their attendants were Rob Dick and Merlyine McKendree Henderson. Mrs. Dick is the daughter of the late Brady and Vena McKendree. Rev. Dick is the son of the late Ellis and Veopal Dick.

Rev. Dick has served churches in Kentucky and Indiana for 34 years. The couple also served as missionaries in Europe for 3 years and is currently serving with the Aurora Baptist Church in Aurora.

They have two sons, Marty and Todd Dick both of Murray. They have six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Their children and grandchildren invite all friends and relatives to attend the lunch and celebration honoring their parents. The couple request no gifts.
