Mr. David Harrington, 64, of Murray died on Monday, August 11 at the Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee.

David was born on August 5, 1950, in Paducah. He was the son of the late Edward Rudolph and Joann Kelley Harrington. He was currently serving as the Calloway County Attorney, and had done so for five terms, one term as an assistant. David was the longest serving Calloway County Attorney. He was a graduate of Mayfield High School, Murray State University, and the University Of Kentucky School Of Law. He was also a member of the Glendale Road Church of Christ.

He is survived by his wife, Pat Harrington of Murray. They were married February 18, 1972 in Sedalia. He is also survived by three daughters, Elizabeth Harper and husband Eric of Louisville, Lynda Shutt and husband Brant of Murray and Kimberly Sexton and husband Tim of Memphis, Tennessee, two brothers, Alan Harrington and wife Christy of Paducah, and Richard Harrington and wife Listy of Murphysboro, Tennessee, three grandchildren, Kyra, Kenna, and Kason Shutt all of Murray.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 16 at the Glendale Road Church of Christ, John Dale officiated. Burial followed in the Antioch Church of Christ Cemetery.
