He leaves behind his loving wife of 55 years, Martha Bohannon Stevenson of Possum Trot; a daughter, Ann Dismore and her husband Terry of Calvert City; a son, Jeff Stevenson and his wife Rhonda of Possum Trot; three granddaughters, Samantha Edging and her husband Charlie Joe, Beth Noles and her husband Kris, Amber Montgomery and her husband Jordan all of Calvert City; one grandson, Randy Stevenson of Possum Trot; one great grandson, Treven Montgomery of Calvert City; two brothers, William Stevenson and Bobby Stevenson both of Calvert City; and his pride and joy, Mitzi and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Kathy Odom; two brothers, Jimmy Stevenson and Willard Stevenson; a half-sister, Maxine Beyer; and a half-brother, James Stevenson. His parents were Arlee Stevenson and Myrtie McCoil Stevenson.
Clarence loved his cows and hunting. Most of all he loved his grandchildren. He retired from the Tennessee Valley Authority, and was a member of the Laborers Local #1214 and the Teamsters Local #236. Clarence was a member of the Lakeland Baptist Temple.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 13 at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home. Bro. Darrell Walker officiated and burial followed in the Fooks Cemetery.
