He is survived by his wife, Lori Myers Jewell of Hardin; one son, Cole Jewell of Hardin, one sister, Robin Sager of Hardin; and one brother, Billy Joe Williams of Copperas Cove, Texas.
He was preceded in death his mother, Barbara Darnell Jewell.
Graveside services were held September 24, at Litchfield Cemetery in Land Between the Lakes. Bro. Billy Paul Williams officiated. Burial followed in the Litchfield Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established for Cole Jewell c/o CFSB, P.O. Box 467, Benton, KY 42025.
