On January 9 the Red Cross will host a community blood drive sponsored by the City of Calvert City and the Calvert City Lions Club at the Calvert City Civic Center. Donations can be made from 12:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Prizes furnished by local businesses will be presented to donors. A drawing will also be held for a US savings bond provided by the CFSB Bank.
