She formerly owned and operated Bonnie’s Food Service in Hardin, and also operated a restaurant in the Wrangler’s Camp in the Land Between the Lakes and was of the Methodist faith.
She is survived by her husband, David Alan Byrd; one son, Glen Collins Strasburg, Va.; one step-son, Adam Byrd of Murray; 3 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 1 nephew, 2 nieces, and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond “Lefty” and Mollie Worsley Lee; and one sister, Mollie Jean Sasseen.
Funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 3, in the Shelby Chapel with Jim Dace officiating. Burial followed in the Odd Fellows Cemetery.
