The Pennyrile Narcotic Task Force, with the Marshall County Sheriff's Department, went to a house on Ethridge Lane after receiving information about illegal drug activity. Deputies were given permission to enter and search the home. During the search, deputies said they found coffee filters containing lantern fuel and residue. They also allegedly found foils with methamphetamine, two small bags of meth, drug paraphernalia and a small bag of marijuana. Deputies also believe they found two controlled substances.
Billy J. Stacey, 54, was charged with manufacturing of methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a meth precursor, possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. He was jailed in the Marshall County Detention Center.
