Ben K. Haley, 91, of Hardin, died March 5th, at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield.

Mr. Haley was a World War II veteran, a member of the Army Air Corps, and served in the 77th Bombardment Squadron in the Aleutian Islands. He was retired from Tappan Stove Co. of Murray. He was a lifelong member of Dexter-Hardin United Methodist Church.

Mr. Haley is survived by his wife, Betty Skaggs Haley; one son, David L. Haley of Skokie, Ill.; two daughters, LuAnn Clendenen of Murray; and Rebecca Lyn Henderson of Hardin; 8 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; and one nephew.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John W. and Elizabeth Crosby Haley; 5 brothers, and 4 sisters.

Services were held at Dexter-Hardin United Methodist Church on March 9, Rev. Dean Emerson, Rev. Richard Burkeen, and Rev. David L. Haley officiated. Burial followed in the Murray Memorial Gardens.
