Arrangements were handled by Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home and Crematory of Benton.
She is survived by her husband, Dr. Westel Creager; two children, Rebecca Boehlitz and Ron Creager; grandchildren Kelly Deatherage Putty, Kristi Deatherage Johnson, Kasey Deatherage Hauret and Karson Deatherage Wellington; and 18 great-grandchildren.
A native of Exeter, Calif., her parents were Rev. Ross H. and Ina Minkler. Her early years were spent in Louisville.
Mrs. Creager was featured soloist on the international radio program “The Christian Brotherhood Hour” as well as her father’s syndicated radio program, “Green Pastures.” She also produced and hosted her own daily inspirational radio show “Morning Melodies” on WFIA in Louisville.
A private family memorial and celebration of her life is planned to take place at the home of her children. She will be laid to rest with her parents and sister in Tulare, Calif.
