Mrs. Barbara Blanchard, 81, of Benton died on Saturday, Nov. 17, at 8:55 a.m. at the home of her daughter in Benton.

A native of Lawrenceville, Ill., she was the daughter of the late Joseph Wolfe and the late Rose (Taylor) Wolf. She was the wife of the late James S. Blanchard Jr.

She was a member of First Missonary Baptist Church in Benton.

Surviving are two daughters, Angela Dublin of Benton and Deborah Cox of Gilbertsville; brothers Jim Wolfe and Kent Wolfe, both of Lawrenceville, Ill.; sisters Patricia Hardy of Fort Myers, Fla., and Martha Hawley of Cody Wyo.;, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Randy Lee Blanchard; five brothers and three sisters.

A funeral service was held Monday, Nov. 19, in the chapel of Collier Funeral Home. The Rev. K. Alan Miller and Rev. Calvin Wilkins officiated. Interment followed in the Marshall County Memory Gardens.
