Angela Byerley Burkhart, 51, of Benton, died Monday, July 23, at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah. Burkhart was a homemaker and was a member of New Covenant Baptist Church.

She was the daughter of Ella Mae (Holt) Byerley of Benton and the late Donald H. Byerley.

Besides her mother, survivors are her husband, Leon Burkhart; two daughters, Laura Burkhart and Ledonna Brumbalough; one brother, Steven Mitchell Byerley; one sister, Janet Marie Dobbs; and her stepfather, Jerry York, all of Benton.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, July 26, at Collier Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Rev. Mark Dillon, Rev. Tommy Gamble and Rev. Othar Ruby officiating. Interment will be at Dunn Cemetery.
