She was of the Baptist faith. She was an internal auditor with Murray State University.
She is survived by her husband, Stan Sasseen; her mother, Mary Lee Sutherland Holland of Mayfield; one daughter, Jessica Edgell of Hawaii; one son, Jay Sasseen of Portland, Ore.; and two sisters.
She was preceded in death by her father, Huston Douglas Holland.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Byrn Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Spence Pate officiating.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Byrn Funeral Home.
