BENTON – Two Marshall County residents were arrested last week in connection with three home burglaries in the Olive community.

David Todd, 33, of Old Olive Road and Angie Murphy, 37, of Benton were arrested and charged with burglary second degree.

Marshall County sheriff’s deputies went to Todd’s home and discovered a number of items taken in the burglaries, including jewelry and two safes.

As a result of another search warrant executed Friday, police discovered stolen items taken from a home in Murray. Charges from that case are pending.

Both Todd and Murphy were placed in the Marshall County Detention Center.
