Traffic on the Julian Carrol Purchase Parkway between Benton and Draffenville will be closed in each direction due to a collision that resulted from a semi truck hitting the rear of a mowing crew support truck.
Traffic is being rerouted at exits 43 and 47.
Cleanup crews are on the scene and motorists should avoid the area.
